1. Select and install
Generally speaking, the balance weight, center of gravity, and rear suspension are determined by the overall layout of the vehicle. When driving with full load, the selection of counterweight mainly considers vertical stability. The weight of the counterweight directly affects the safety factor of the front and rear balance of the forklift, and is a key parameter determining the safety factor of the forklift. When calculating the total mass g of the counterweight, the installation size of the counterweight can be determined by the assembly shape of the counterweight on the frame based on the center of the rear wheel axle. There are two inverted V-shaped suspension blocks on the outer side of the upper part of the forklift tailstock, and the counterweight can be fixed with two bolts.
2. Ventilation holes
Thermal balance is a very important parameter for forklifts. Therefore, if the heat dissipation is insufficient, the cooling water temperature of the engine will become too high, which will affect the performance of the forklift. Therefore, the position of the counterweight holes, ventilation pipes, and airflow ducts is particularly important. Generally speaking, the higher the ventilation opening, the greater the heat dissipation. The circular transition between the ventilation opening and the radiator is very suitable for turning flow and improving heat dissipation performance.
3. Departure angle
The starting angle of the bottom of the counterweight is also important. The angle is mainly used to avoid friction between the bottom edge of the counterweight and the ground when moving up and down. In theory, the starting angle is equal to the larger rising angle of a specific vehicle model. The boundary point of the bottom edge of the counterweight should be determined based on the larger inclination of the specific model and the rear overhang on the counterweight.
